Marry your Daughter song.... that leads to the PROPOSAL....

Luke and I, we're at the Adidas store at the Robinson's place around 9pm last night. I was looking for a messenger bag when this song was played and Luke came to me, he said, "Hey, listen carefully...." I was so kilig while listening, ang naintindihan ko lang, marry, wife, princess, queen, beautiful bride and I want her to be the only girl that I love for the rest of my life....hindi ko rin naintindihan lahat ng message ng song. After naplay ang song, I looked at him, all smile sya, nahiya ako so sabi ko, "Lets go na, walang silang messenger bag e....", then we proceed to next shops, pero nawalan na'ko nang ganang mamili, nagpi-play pa rin sa utak ko yung song, after we bought the bags sa last shop na pinuntahan namin, I told him na we should go home, babalik pa kasi sya sa office nya, talagang niyaya ko lang sya to shop with me kagabi, nagdinner na rin kami before we go out shopping kaya diretso na agad kami sa condo nya. Para syang christmas tree sa dami nang bitbit nya, I forgot to take photos of him, sayang.

When we got back to his place, nagpahinga lang sya ng 15 minutes, kwentuhan kami konti about his meeting kanina, pero hindi ko pinasok yung topic about the song. Then later he went out na to go back to his office which is just a few building blocks away lang from his condo.

Pag-alis nya, I grabbed my laptop and then search for the song, Brian Mcknight pala, kinilig ako ulit, so I downloaded and listen carefully, me lyrics yung video so binasa ko, halfway na nung kanta nung mabasa ko yung I'm gonna marry your daughter, ini-scan ko pabalik sa taas to check the title, MARRY YOUR DAUGHTER.... Teka, the song is not for me. It is actually for my Dad..... I played it back and read the lyrics. It is for my Dad nga, I was crying habang nagpiplay yung music. Kachat ko that time sa YM si Ren and katext ko si Diane, sige na ang kulit ni Ren kung nasan na yung song, bakit hindi ko pa maipost. Hindi ko mapost kasi blurred na yung vision ko, nababasa na ng luha yung laptop ko, emo to the max ako, kasi I felt so guilty, I've been travelling for 4 weeks now, though I include my Dad in my prayers ko at night, nawalan talaga ako ng time think about him for a while. Buti pa si Luke, he haven't met my Dad but he still think about him and respected him. This song, na parang he's asking permission to my Dad, grabe, sobra, I love him more for this, although wala pa syang nabanggit, but this song is giving me a hint of what he plans to do next but I don't know when, parang gusto ko na ako na ang magpropose last night, keber sa dati kong stand about marriage and being single for life! But thanks to Diane for reminding me not to ruin his plans.... In a way, I didn't!

He was out for almost 2 hours, pagdating nya nasa dining pa rin ako, kung ano hitsura ko nung umalis sya, ganun pa rin ako pagbalik nya.

"Busy?" He asked. Lumapit sya sa'kin then gave me a kiss.

"Nope, thinking." Sabi ko after I kissed him back. Umupo sya sa chair sa tabi ko.

"About what. Come here." He asked me to sit on his lap.

"About the song." I stood up, pumunta ko sa kanya and sit on his lap, yumakap sya.

"You like it?" He asked again.

"Yes, it's for my Dad." Sagot ko.

"You think your Dad would love hearing it from me? I mean hindi ako marunong kumanta pero yung message, that's what I wanted him to hear." Sabi nya.

"When are you planning to tell him?" I asked.

"Tomorrow, pag-uwi natin sa inyo, you think papayag sya."

"Oo naman, matanda na'ko e. So we will visit him agad padating natin." Malapit lang ang memorial park sa bahay namin, walking distance lang.

Inayos nya yung position ko paharap sa kanya. "Yes, kasama na Mommy mo para sa kanila ako magsasabi. So meaning payag ka na rin?"

"Hah, saan?" Medyo naguluhan ako so I need to re-check kung ano yung gusto nyang sabihin.

"Wala akong props." Sabi nya bigla.

"Anong prop, para saan?" Tanong ko.

"Bukas pa sana eh, kaya lang naunahan ng song, pero pwede naman siguro kahit walang props." Sabi nya.

"Ano nga kasing props yun?" Tanong ko ulit.

"Ano bang props ang kailangan when you're proposing."

"Hah! Magpo-propose ka?" Expected ko na pero nagulat pa din ako.

"Si Kent kasi eh, sabi ko nang ngayon dalhin sa office yung in-order ko sa kanya." Sabi nya.

"Nag-order ka sa kanya ng ano?" Hahaha, lito pa rin ako.

"Hahaha, ang ale, nakakatuwa ka baby, a ring for you. Di ba nga magpopropose ako?"

"Ah, oo nga, kailangan nga yun." Sagot ko rin naman, parang tanga lang.

"Pero ok naman kahit wala muna, gusto ko na gawin ngayon, mukhang nasa mood ka for this." Sabay ngiti nya.

"Hmmm, timing ka rin sa wakas ano!" Sabi ko. Nginitian ko sya, take note, from ear to ear, excited ako! Minsan lang 'to!

Nagseryoso sya. "Three months pa lang tayo, ok na yun diba, ayoko na maghintay, matagal na yung 5 years, e. I want us official, not just as a couple, I WANT A LIFETIME WITH YOU, WILL YOU BE MY WIFE?"

"I WANT A LIFETIME WITH YOU TOO AND WILL YOU BE MY HUSBAND?" Tanong ko rin, gaya-gaya. Feeling ko nasa simbahan kami, taking our vows, kulang na lang pari.

In unison at pareho ang wavelength namin that time, sabay kaming sumagot ng "YES." Hahahaha, tawanan kaming dalawang after, ang saya, I didn't expect na ganon ang magyayari, I'm not expecting a big night with candlelight dinner and all, ganito lang sobrang saya ko na lalo na yung humiling ng lifetime with me is the man I truly love.

He proposed and in a way I proposed too.... We kissed and made love last night with so much passion and love, its so different from the other nights, very special.... I so love the feeling.... The best night of my life.
