To our Little One.... Mommy and Daddy's greatest love

Hey there our Little One,



How are you inside Mommy’s tummy? Mommy’s gonna be so careful with you, I’ll protect you from harm and take very good care of you, I promise you that.



Daddy’s so happy, he’s the first one who have found out your existence. Mommy’s so busy with work but Daddy’s monitoring us, and Mommy is so happy he did and he made sure we’re both safe.



Daddy’s always talking to you even if we didn’t know yet if you’re really there, he always place his head on Mommy’s tummy, wanting to know if he can hear or feel you in there. He can’t wait to hold you in his arms, play with you and put you to sleep.



We can’t wait to feel your first kick or hear your heartbeat, it’ll be in a few weeks from now.



You have our DNA’s, but we don’t know much about you yet. Are going to look like Daddy or more like Mommy? Will you have the same personality or traits like Mommy has or Daddy? What’s your personality gonna be like?  If you’re a girl, will you be the girly type or a tomboy like Mommy when she was a kid. Or if you’re a boy, will you be as sporty and adventurous like Daddy? Will you be an artist like Mommy who kept on painting walls when she's just just 2 years old, or building blocks like Daddy, who's always trying to build his own small empire, even until now. Are you gonna be so brave, bubbly, smart and carefree like Mommy or you’ll be serious, strong, sweet and loving just like Daddy? I hope you’ll get both of our traits and personality, but I know you’ll have your own traits and personality and you’ll be perfect just the same.



I wish if you’re going to be a girl, you’ll have Daddy’s eyes, his got the most beautiful eyes and eyelashes, it will be so perfect on you, but your hair should be like Mommy, long, straight and shiny. You’ll be so pretty and lovely, and when you become a lady, I know Daddy’s gonna be on your back protecting you from the guys that would try breaking your heart (but I know one of them will love you forever like Daddy loves Mommy). Don’t worry, he just doesn’t want you to get hurt. We don’t want you to get hurt. I wish you’ll be like Mommy when you fall in love. I only love once and I’ll love him forever, he’s your Daddy baby girl.



If you’re going to be a boy, I wish you’ll look more like Daddy, you’re going to be the next heartthrob. Just be careful and don’t break someone’s heart coz Mommy wouldn’t like it. I hope you’ll get Daddy’s personality, he so sensitive, sweet and very loving, he loves me, his Mom (your Oma) and his sister (your Tante) so much, he is very good with ladies. I hope you’ll be the same with your future sister(s) too, just don’t be too friendly to some ladies or they might get the wrong impression from you. And like Daddy, find the right girl and love her with all your heart. Again, like Daddy loves Mommy.



We don’t know yet what the future will bring to you, what challenges you might encountered in life when you grow older but Daddy and Mommy will make sure you are ready to face them. We will guide you all throughout, you will fall sometimes but we will be there to help you stand up and be ready to face another fall if it happened once again. Just be brave and you'll get through anything, promise.




We will be so proud and happy with all the achievements you’ll make, but we will not be pushing you to achieve more if you can’t, we will just be too happy with what you can achieve on your own.



One thing we promise you is that you’ll have the freedom to choose what you want to do in your life. We want you to pursue your dreams. We want you to be able to go out, explore and adventure if you want to, and find yourself and your place in this world.



We want you to learn to be on your own and to stand up on what you believe in. But we also want you to know that there will be other people who will not believe in you, you cannot please everyone, if that’s the case, you have to respect them and learn how to handle it without getting into trouble.



We want you to grow up independent but you still have to know how to depend on someone else if you need to.



We also wanted to be not only your parents but your friends as well, so that you’ll be free to tell us what’s on your mind and what’s your heart desires. Maybe, we will not always say yes and approve, but we will try to meet you halfway.



Whatever happens, whatever you do, you will always have our unconditional love and support Little One, always put that in your mind.



We will be waiting for you, and while we wait, we’ll make sure you’ve got all the best nourishment we can give you so that you’ll grow perfectly. And while you were waiting inside Mommy’s tummy, you’ll feel safe and secured in the warmth of Mommy's womb.



We are hoping for your safety arrival, we can’t wait to hold you in our arms. I know we will hear you cry first, but yeah, you just wanna make sure we know you’ve arrived.



I can’t wait to see your beautiful face, touch your soft curls, smell your scent, hear you breathing while your little feet start wiggling and kicking and your little fingers wrap around Mommy’s thumb, and most especially, feel your little mouth suckling Mommy’s nipples for your first taste of milk. Daddy will try to capture every move you make. He’ll be our director and cameraman, I just hope he won’t faint when he saw you coming out.



In less than nine months from now, we will be both on a journey with Daddy on our side, when your arrival date comes, be strong little One, Mommy will be strong for both of us, we will be together on this, helping each other. And when you are a little bit older, Mommy will tell you that the first time you help out Mommy is when you’re just “a seconds old”, you help Mommy bring you out into this world, that's your first achievement Little One, Mommy and Daddy will be so very proud of you.



You’re the best gift we ever got from each other, Little One. Thank you for making us a Mother and a Father. And we thank God too for giving you to us, He choose us to be your parents and we will do our very best to make sure that He made the right choice for you.
